About scales and arpeggios part 1
Taken from the advanced electric bass course "Soloing Concepts for Electric Bass", this lesson will put a lot of musical content under your fingers. We demonstrate the C dorian scale, Cminor7 chord, F mixolydian scale, Fdominant7 chord, Bb major scale, Bbmajor7 chord and Eb lydian major scale, Eb lydian major7 chord. It will become much easier to play solos and bass lines over the changes once you are familiar with these scales and chord tones.

The Major Scale Approach
This course is designed to give a strong grounding to all 12 major keys on both 4 and 5 string electric bass. The course gives an overview of the makeup of the major scale and then takes you in depth to every major key. The material covered provides the gateway to tackle great basslines and solos.
Electric Bass Warm Up Exercise
This free lesson will teach you the two most important chords in each key. We break every major key down to it's I and V chord and play them consecutively following the cycle of fifths. This is a great exercise for learning basic harmony (I and V chords in every key), finding notes on the fingerboard, voice leading between V to I progressions, improving technique through musical content and ear trining.
