About shuffle bassline and fills
This free electric bass lesson shares a great shuffle bassline and takes it through a basic to an extended version. It is a superb line that fulfills several functions. Improves the knowledge of notes in an extended range, along with your left hand technique through playing musical content. Develops rhythmic awareness by playing a steady quarter note pulse. We suggest to learn the simple phrase first then the extended version and variations, fills.
There is a whole stand alone section devoted to developing fills in this style. Click on the small buttons on the bottom of the video to navigate the different sections.
