During this course you will learn all twelve one octave minor triads in the lower positions. We will explore all the aspects of musical knowledge and technique involved playing these major triads on the lower part of the double bass.

Inversions - The above lesson explains what Inversions are. Triads come in 3 different forms: Root Position, First Inversion and Second Inversion.
The Minor Triad - This lesson describes the minor triad and gives you two great options to determine it.

First Position

E Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the E Minor Triad, played up to the first position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.

Second Position

F Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the F Minor Triad, played up to the Second Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.
A Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the A Minor Triad, played up to the 2nd Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.

Second And Third Interim Position

F# Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the F# Minor Triad, played up to the 2nd & 3rd Interim Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.
C# Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the C# Minor Triad, played up to the 2nd & 3rd Interim Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.
Bb Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the Bb Minor Triad, played up to the 2nd & 3rd Interim Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.

Third Position

G Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the G Minor Triad, played up to the Third Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.
D Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the D Minor Triad, played up to the Third Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.
B Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the B Minor Triad, played up to the Third Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.

Third And Fourth Interim Position

C Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the C Minor Triad, played up to the 3rd & 4th Interim Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise.
G# Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the G# Minor Triad, played up to the Third Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise. This is a physically challenging triad, so take frequent breaks while practicing it.
Eb Minor Triad And Inversions - This is the Eb Minor Triad, played up to the 3rd & 4th Interim Position, including it’s inversions and a related exercise. This is one of the more difficult triads to play, so pay extra attention to it.
